Glossary of Terms
This glossary contains definitions used by the Project Change Frame® and other methodologies supported by Lindsay McKenna Limited.
A number of definitions are taken from the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK®) from the Project Managment Institute. These are denoted by having (PMI) at the end of the definition..
- Hammock
- An aggregate or summary activity. (A group of related activities is displayed as one and reported at a summary level.) (PMI)
- Handover
- Delivery of the Outputs from the Project and responsibility for their maintenance to the Customer.
- Hanger
- An unintended break in the network path. Hangers are usually caused by missing activities or logical relationships. (PMI)
- Histogram
- Similar to a Bar Chart with no spaces between the bars. It is suitable for presenting data gathered from continuous variables.
